Valenti Lawyers carry out the great majority of our legal work: establishing unit and family trusts for our clients, conducting some property settlements, and they have looked at a couple of disputes for us. Kim is a very good listener; he breaks down the elements of a problem well. He also has a very professional attitude; having received his advice, you know exactly where you stand. Their turnaround times are pretty quick. If you give them a job, someone is usually onto it straight away; if not, you receive some feedback or response by way of a phone call or email.

One of the major benefits of working with Valenti Lawyers is the close personal relationship that we have with them. Because of this, we can be brutally frank and honest. I feel able to give them frank opinions and feedback, and know they won't take it personally, where other firms possibly would not respond so well. This is the beauty of the whole place; it's like 'one big family'.

This personal relationship has been built across the entire firm, so we are comfortable with staff other than Kim helping us with mutual clients.

Another aspect is the smallness of the firm. This has several advantages: firstly, you are confident that a file isn't moving from one person to another, from lawyer to legal assistant to secretary and the like; secondly, you deal directly with one person who is reachable and available – there's a measure of direct accountability; thirdly, because Kim and Denise work closely together, if one of them isn't available, the other may be across a client's issues and may be able to help you.
