Using Valenti Lawyers ensures that we stand at arms length from any disputes in which we are engaged. They have resolved numerous disputes to our favour, which is obviously commercially beneficial.

In addition, Valenti Lawyers bring forward methods and ideas from a different perspective to ours. As our business is land development, we approach issues from a certain angle; often Valenti Lawyers view things from another angle, one that is complementary to ours. This complementarity is a good thing.

We like the fact that Valenti Lawyers are a smaller practice, and particularly the access to Kim that comes with this. Kim is aggressive in a measured way; he gets to the point of matters quickly.

There is also a good synergy between Kim's personality and mine. He understands the way I like to do things and takes this into account when working with me. Such an understanding is good for a working relationship. Kim is also proactive in his advice, which is helpful from a business point of view.

There are no negatives in using Valenti Lawyers, except that we can't use them for other areas of legal work. Although by restricting the areas in which they practice, this allows us to deal directly with Kim and receive personalised service. Were they to broaden their services, we might loose some of the benefits associated with this.
