Kim Valenti
After more than 15 years practising in the area of Commercial Litigation, Kim
now practises extensively in the areas of:-

Commercial Lending;

Land, including land acquisition and development advice and land compensation
advice and recovery action arising from land reserved or resumed for public
purposes by government agencies;

Land Planning and Development including advice, documentation and Applications
for Review to the State Administrative Tribunal; and
-
Business Risk Management advice and documentation with emphasis on small and
medium enterprises (SMEs) in relation to strategic planning and succession.
Kim is the most senior Practitioner at Valenti Lawyers. Upon graduating from
the University of Western Australia, Kim was admitted to practice law in
Western Australia in 1976. Kim is also admitted to practice before the High
Court of Australia.
Throughout a legal career that spans over thirty years, Kim has acquired
extensive experience in the areas in which he practises. Kim also has a Master
of Laws with emphasis upon Finance, Property, Planning and Development and
Stamp Duty. In 1996 Kim decided to create his own firm and established Valenti
Lawyers. It is the strong dedication to his own personal values and philosophy
that has seen Kim build a firm that reflects the philosophy, values and goals
referred to earlier.

Denise Calver
Denise practises in the areas of commercial litigation, including debt
recovery, in the Magistrates and District Courts of Western Australia, Finance
and Lending, Contract Law, Land and Property including Settlements, Estate
Planning and Succession including Wills and Probate.
Denise and Kim have worked together since 1993. In 1997 Denise. commenced her 5
year Articled Clerkship under Kim’s guidance and supervision culminating in
Denise being admitted to practice in Western Australia in 2002. Denise is a
highly motivated and valued member of the team at Valenti Lawyers

Matthew Noonan-Crowe
Matthew is a Lawyer at Valenti Lawyers.
Matthew’s relationship with Valenti Lawyers started during Matthew’s final
years of study when he worked part-time as a paralegal for the firm. An Aquinas
College Old Boy and University of Western Australia alumnus, upon graduating
from UWA Matthew took up the position of Articled Clerk at Valenti Lawyers.
Matthew’s studies saw him graduate with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of
Commerce majoring in Finance – the perfect combination for a career in a
largely commercial law firm. During his time at UWA, Matthew won the highly
coveted Law Society of Western Australia’s 2006 Plain English Drafting
Competition for Law Students. In addition to his legal talents, Matthew has a
strong interest in the Arts with a particular passion for Music, Art and
Architecture.

Wann Yuan, Loh
Wann graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Master of Laws. Wann was admitted and enrolled as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaysia in 1994 and admitted to practice in New South Wales in 2002 and Western Australia in April 2008.
Wann has tutored in Australian Business Law for the MBA course at the University of South Queensland and in International Business Law for the MBA course at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
