Kim Valenti

After more than 15 years practising in the area of Commercial Litigation, Kim now practises extensively in the areas of:-
  • Commercial Lending
  • Land, including land acquisition and development, land compensation advice and recovery action arising from land reserved or resumed for public purposes by government agencies
  • Land planning and development including advice, documentation and Applications for Review to the State Administrative Tribunal
  • Business Risk Management advice and documentation with emphasis on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in relation to strategic planning and succession

Kim is the Principal of Valenti Lawyers. Upon graduating from the University of Western Australia, Kim was admitted to practice law in Western Australia in 1976. Kim is also admitted to practice before the High Court of Australia.

Throughout a legal career that spans over thirty years, Kim has acquired extensive experience in the areas in which he practises. Kim also has a Master of Laws with emphasis upon Finance, Property, Planning and Development and Transfer Duty.

In 1996 Kim established Valenti Lawyers. It is the strong dedication to his own personal values and philosophy that has seen Kim build a firm that reflects the philosophy, values and goals referred to earlier.

 

Denise Calver

Denise practises in the areas of Finance and Lending, Property including Settlements, Leasing, Commercial Advice and Litigation, Debt Recovery, Estate Planning and Succession including Wills and Probate.

Denise and Kim have worked together since 1993, Denise originally being employed as Kim’s Secretary. In 2002 Denise was admitted to practice as a Lawyer in Western Australia after having completed her 5 year Articled Clerkship at Murdoch University under Kim’s assistance and guidance.

Denise was born in Colchester, Essex in England and came to Perth when she was 19 on a 12 month working visa and has been in Perth ever since. Married to Andy who works as a Skydiver, Denise and Andy welcomed their daughter Edyn into the world in July 2009.

 

Kerry McAuliffe

Kerry was for many years a senior partner in one of Perth's largest law firms, and chairman of partners for 2 years, before branching in particular specialties. In recent years, Kerry has acted as a senior consultant, specialising in property and contract law, mining law conveyancing, corporate management agreements, business and personal succession planning, business structures, leasing and licensing, He chairs several company boards, and is active in the non for profit sector.

Lynn Adamson

Lynn was admitted to practice in Western Australia in 1993 after completing five year articles. Lynn has experience in corporate real estate including commercial, industrial and retail leasing, acquisitions and disposals, due diligence and property development.

Lynn has also advised large corporations and small and medium enterprises in relation to their freehold and leasehold property interests.

 

Matthew

Matthew Noonan-Crowe

Matthew is a Lawyer at Valenti Lawyers.

Matthew’s relationship with Valenti Lawyers started during Matthew’s final years of study when he worked part-time as a paralegal for the firm. An Aquinas College Old Boy and University of Western Australia alumnus, upon graduating from UWA Matthew took up the position of Articled Clerk at Valenti Lawyers.

Matthew’s studies saw him graduate with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance – the perfect combination for a career in a predominantly commercial law firm. During his time at UWA, Matthew won the highly coveted Law Society of Western Australia’s 2006 Plain English Drafting Competition for Law Students.

In addition to his legal talents, Matthew has a strong interest in the Arts with a particular passion for Music, Art and Architecture.

Mark Williams

Mark commenced employment as a Law Graduate with Valenti Lawyers in November 2010 and was admitted to practice in July 2011.

Mark completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with Honours in 2008 at Murdoch University and has recently completed studies at The College of Laws.

Mark's interests are varied and diverse. He enjoys playing and watching sports and he is a keen supporter of the Collingwood Magpies. He further enjoys socialising with friends, watching movies and reading with a particular interest in the works of Jean-Paul Sartre who was the subject of his Philosophy Thesis. Mark also enjoys travelling which is a pursuit he hopes to expand and build upon in the future."

Sheleene Murray

Sheleene commenced employment with Valenti Lawyers in 2005 and is a Senior Paralegal.

In June 2008, Sheleene commenced a Bachelor of Laws at Murdoch University. She is currently balancing full time work with her legal studies which she expects to complete in late 2012.

Sheleen is an avid Fremantle Dockers supporter, enjoys a glass of wine and dining out, keeping fit and spending time with family and friends. She is interested in the performing arts, travelling and property investment and hopes to further those interests in the future..

Jade Clarkes

Jade joined Valenti Lawyers in early 2010 as a Legal Secretary / Personal Assistant.

She was born in Portsmouth, United Kingdom and moved to Australia with her family in 1995.

In 2005 Jade commenced working in the oil and gas industry in the area of recruitment. After working in the industry for five years Jade decided to pursue a career as a Legal Secretary / Personal Assistant.

Jade is enjoying legal work and hopes to become a Paralegal in the forthcoming years.

Jade enjoys reading novels, going to the ballet, socialising with friends and cooking

 

Matthew

Rachel Monger

Rachel joined Valenti lawyers in August 2011 as a legal secretary/personal assistant.

In 2006 Rachel commenced her career as a legal secretary and has worked in many areas of law including workers compensation, motor vehicle injury, probate, Wills and Estate planning, commercial litigation, debt collection and building disputes.

Rachel returned to Perth In August 2011 after living in London for a year and travelling Europe with her partner. She has now returned to Perth to continue her career as a legal secretary.

Rachel enjoys going to the beach, travel and cooking.
